Nine Twenty Engineering are delighted to be supporting our global manufacturing client; an international market leading company in the global food industry. This role reports into my clients Scottish head quarter but can be based anywhere. They have a presence in more than 100 countries all over the world and have some of the worlds leading names in the food industry as customers.They are now looking for an After Market Sales Manager.

Job Summary

  • You will work as an Aftermarket Sales Manager for the United Kingdom region based in the main office in Central Scotland.
  • Your main responsibility will be to market, sell and lead the implementation of the company portfolio of Aftermarket solutions such as, up-grades, overhauls and service contracts.
  • Your customers are in the United Kingdom and Ireland and require travel.
  • The sales process includes
    • identify and present solutions to the customer
    • prepare the offer technically and financially (budget and price) with support from the teams in United Kingdom and Helsingborg
    • present, follow-up the offer to the customer, and close the deal and make the contract
    • act as the project leader for implementation in cooperation with the service and technical support team in Scotland and Helsingborg
    • Ensure that the projects meet the customer expectations, times lines and the budget
    • Develop strategies, actions and sales plans with the objective to grow
  • Meet budgets on sales and margins
  • Feedback market and customer needs to the supporting organizations to be able to develop solutions in line with the market demands
  • Manage customer information in our CRM tool
  • Will work very close with the Service Manager as well as the New Equipment Sales Managers for the UK region.


Qualifications/Skills Required

The focus is finding the right person, to further develop you and the company. You are self-motivated with a high energy level and a customer focused and business mind set. You respond quickly to customers request without losing the focus on our plans, strategies and the end goal.

You have:

  • Technical degree
  • Extensive experience from the food industry
  • Customer relationship experience from either sales or other sales related supporting work
  • Fluent in English and preferable a second language
