We are on the look out for a Software Developer to join the team.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with the following technologies PHP, Laravel, Vue.js & MySQL.

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • A software development track record that includes PHP, Laravel and MySQL.
  • Strong knowledge of how to design, program, implement, and maintain single-page, API-driven JavaScript web application.
  • Experience with Linux system administration Ubuntu/Debian and working with Docker containers.
  • Experience of product development - particularly around the management of product backlogs and prioritisation of items for development sprints. That includes working with colleagues to identify and prioritise requirements.
  • Interpretation and review of specifications.
  • Defining fine grain milestones and monitoring progress.
  • Describing and designing systems.
  • Working with test or acceptance documents.
  • Commercial experience involving source control and Git. Experience of agile development, SCRUM and systems like Jira would also be welcome.
  • Accurate estimation of time required for you to complete an item of work. The ability to judge how long something is likely to take.
  • Educational domain knowledge is not essential, but it would be advantageous.
  • Web design skills - the ability to turn customer requirements into simple functional designs.
  • Knowledge and understanding of DevOps and Continuous Integration is an advantage.
