Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be working with The Glenalmond Group, A South Lanarkshire based Group of Engineering companies, to recruit the role of Business Development Sales Executive.

 

   

 

The main scope of this exciting role is to establish plans and strategies to develop a range of new customer accounts and expand existing customer base. To demonstrate to new customers their client's complete package

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop a sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability
  • Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new business out with Oil and Gas industry (Aerospace; Nuclear; etc.)
  • Provides timely, accurate, competitive pricing on all prospective enquiries for pricing and approval, while striving to achieve maximum profit margin
  • Track and follow up all enquiries
  • Support and guidance of Sales Engineers
  • Reviewing competitors and opportunities to break into their markets
  • Review opportunity of developing new partnerships to offer more competitive bid
  • Follow up quotations to gain Orders
  • Maintains contacts with customers to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • To promote positive company image demonstrating enthusiasm for the company
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental standards
  • Liaise with Operations Director on any ad hoc duties
  • Prepare ad hoc reports for Operations Director as and when necessary
  • To provide support to other members of the team when required

Qualifications

  • Degree / HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline
  • Experience and proven track record of achieving targets

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience of Sales Management in Engineering, including all aspects of supplier relationship
  • Significant industry gained technical knowledge and experience
  • Extensive knowledge in engineering disciplines and processes
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Aerospace experience essential
  • Good business sense
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
