My client is a leading brand in the drinks industry who have been going through significant change and investment and have a new role in the business for a dry goods team leader to control all Dry Goods material movements within the plant, ensuring stock accuracy and material placement are achieved at all times via the ERP business system. Ensure inventory counts are conducted on a regular basis and timely investigations are carried out on any possible stock discrepancies. Liaise with Procurement team with regards daily/weekly supplier deliver slots, ensuring we have no material shortages impacting our production schedule.

 

The Role will require you to:-

 

  • Develop and support the Warehouse Team to be fully conversant in our ERP business system, ensuring stock accuracy is achieved at all times.
  • Work closely with the Procurement team to ensure we achieve our incoming delivery supply targets in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with our Production team to ensure no material shortages impact the bottling plan, communicate any shortages in a timely manner.
  • Conduct Perpetual Inventory Counts to support our stock and financial performance.
  • Manage FLT driver and administration performance, conduct daily, weekly review meetings to ensure performance targets are being achieved.
  • Ensure all aspects of supplier returns along with any waste material returns are dealt with in a timely manner, ensuring compliance to our Waste Management Policy.

 

To be successful for this position, you will have: :-

  • HNC or equivalent in Logistics & Warehousing would be preferred
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft office packages
  • Previous experience and fully conversant in a Warehouse ERP system
  • Good communicator, able to work cross functionally with other teams
  • FLT licence would be advantageous
  • Experience of working within a fast paced warehouse environment
  • Experience of Managing a cross functional team
  • Good working knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, especially the operation of Fork Lift Trucks
  • Good presentation skills
  • Competent in implementation and management of 5s techniques and lean processes
