Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be recruiting for our Cumbernauld based client who are looking for a Facilities Technician to join their team on a permanent basis.

Our client is looking for a self motivated and organised individual to work their fast paced Manufacturing environment to keep the building, its plant & equipment, fixtures and fittings in good condition ensuring all aspects of Health & Safety are adhered to at all times including all legislation. You will also be involved in any ongoing training requirements to fulfil the role.

Key Skills for the role

  • A vocational certification demonstrating practical ability in electrical, mechanical, or building field
  • Minimum of one years’ experience in a similar role
  • The ability to work in a team
  • A self-motivated individual with a well-rounded personality
  • Good Interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels 
  • Someone with a logical approach to problem solving
  • Proven to be trustworthy and reliable


  • Maintain the fabric of the building, all fixtures and fittings Internal & external
  • Responsible for contractors visiting facility and recording and updating of all reports on the Facilities PPM tracker
  • Be capable of monitoring and controlling all major pieces of equipment within the facility
  • Record required information and report to the Facilities Manager
  • Carry out routine maintenance on a regular basis in line with legislation and company requirements, keeping within budget.
  • Complete and monitor environmental waste transfer notes where applicable in line with ISO 14001 standard
  • Comply with ISO9001 standard
  • Help to enhance systems updates and run the department effectively.
  • To work within department budgets and achieve goals set by the company on an ongoing basis.
