Job Role Summary

We are currently seeking an experienced international security and intelligence professional to join their Global Security Department supporting Middle East operations. Job Role Responsibilities

The Global Security Intelligence Advisor works within a global team of experienced intelligence and security professionals to produce timely intelligence information critical to our business’s understanding of the dynamic security environments around the world.

The key responsibilities are to:

  • Provide support to key business initiatives by developing and disseminating threat-related intelligence analysis
  • Provide threat analysis in support of the planning and execution of security programmes for selected company events and executive protection assignments
  • Prepare threat assessments, security consideration summaries, and corporate intelligence communications
  • Develop strategies and plans for implementation of new or updated security intelligence practices, processes, or requirements
  • Establish and maintain liaison with national, state, and local governments and law enforcement agencies in order to ensure the timely flow of intelligence and threat information that may impact the security of personnel and operations
  • Establish and maintain liaison with security intelligence counterparts in the energy industry
  • Assist in risk mitigation efforts and the implementation of security risk assessments and surveys
  • Participate in emergency response groups and deployments as appropriate

This position will require the successful candidate to be assigned to Dubai during their employment. Opportunities for other international assignments, supporting professional development as a corporate security intelligence professional, may also be available. 


Expected Level of Proficiency

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Hold a Masters degree, or equivalent, in an area of study relevant to the position, for example criminal justice
  • Have relevant experience working within an intelligence, diplomatic, military, or law enforcement organization or in an intelligence-related private sector job (ten years+ as a guide). Candidates with less than ten years’ experience, but who have a high degree of relevant industry experience will also be considered
  • Have strong IT skills, specifically being an experienced and competent user of Microsoft Office


Candidates should also have demonstrated work experience and / or knowledge of:

  • Providing intelligence analysis and briefings, in both oral and written form, to senior decision-makers
  • Providing intelligence analysis regarding high threat locations / environments
  • A wide range of Open Source intelligence methods and sources

Intelligence-related experience or other relevant familiarity with the Middle East region would be beneficial. 

Candidates who do not hold a relevant Masters, or equivalent, degree will also be considered where they:

  • Have equivalent work experience in the field of intelligence collection or analysis
  • Can demonstrate on-going professional development / learning over multiple years, preferably to the equivalent of degree level
