Nine Twenty engineering are delighted to be working with our growing Scottish based, Engineering services company within the Wind energy sector. They are looking for an ambitious self starter to take ownership of their aftermarket sales for Wind Turbine condition monitoring units and aftermarket maintenance contracts.

This will be a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Sales leader to grow their own sales division from the ground. This is not a completely cold role as there is a strong track record of Wind turbine installation and maintenance that can be targeted but it will be your responsibility to search & Identify potential new clients who might benefit from the organisations products or services and maximise client potential in designated regions.

Job Purpose:

  • Researches sales and marketing trends and data within the specialist sector. Provides expert information regarding key information for marketing success.
  • Guides the implementation of sales strategies for products and services.
  • Researches the specialist Renewable & Wind Turbine Sectors, markets, demographics, trends, sales results, and other data related to the client's products or services
  • Analyses details of competitor offerings, including specifications, market share, pricing, and promotional materials
  • Support & develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements
  • Manage RFI, RFQ, tenders, proposals and contract terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs
  • Create detailed reports with market, sector research findings and analysis to contribute to key business strategies
  • Provides written documents and verbal presentations for each client to guide the creation of key business plans and strategies
  • Recommends specific marketing approaches and spending budgets to achieve desired sales goals
  • Research new product and service development opportunities, to increase overall market share in new or existing markets
  • Assists management and directors, with focused branding, positioning, and marketing tools for each product and service
  • Work with Marketing, Manage and deliver against the budgets to produce effective promotional materials and advertising opportunities
  • Support technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needs
  • Evaluate and track product and services feedback and adjusting key business strategies as necessary
  • work on aftermarket support, ensuring services match agreed levels and contracts and provide additional back up as required
  • design, deliver and support product training
  • support with the preparation of client activity reports for line management, directors and head office
  • support marketing activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Analyse, evaluate and report on client products and service performance levels relating to contracted agreements

Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a science based subject

Experience of working for an engineering service provider, systems integrator or renewables products and service based organisation.
