HR ASSISTANT

RENFREW/DUMBARTON

Nine Twenty are supporting our Manufacturing client who have an urgent need for an HR Assistant to support with HR processes delivering the best service for employees and managers.

You will be required to provide dedicated HR support and advice to colleagues across the organisation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Employee lifecycle administration; completing pre-employment checks, issuing offers, compiling employment contracts and new start paperwork, changes of terms and conditions and leaver processing
  • Co-ordinate and conduct internal and external recruitment processes (including induction)
  • General HR administration paperwork
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations issues where possible and conduct initial stages of disciplinary and grievance
  • Absence management – including RTW compliance, absence triggers and follow up meetings
  • Payroll Administration and processing payroll changes for the site
  • Co-ordinate training including maintaining training records
  • Track personal development plans and collate training needs
  • Co-ordinate and roll out internal communications, managing company social media content
  • Assist in the delivery of training to close gaps in skills and competences.
  • Ensure administration of employee development and training plans and results

Experience and Skills:

  • Customer focused individual who can demonstrate initiative, enthusiasm, energy
  • Previous HR/L and D experience required. Completed or working towards a qualification in HR, CIPD/ QBE considered
  • Payroll experience as well as experience of working within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels across the organisation
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure to meet deadlines and to respond quickly to new demands or competing tasks
  • Evidence of improving business processes, embracing, and promoting change in collaboration with others.
  • Good understanding of Reward, Learning and Development and Engagement
  • Strong ER experience, sound knowledge of employment law
  • Excellent PC skills including MS office, ideally including SAGE, Excel, and Word.
  • Training delivery experience
