Maintenance Engineer - Glasgow

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled Electrical or Mechanical engineer to join my client's team based in Renfrewshire.

This is a dayshift position with the opportunity to work overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Planned and reactive maintenance work
• Looking at small projects to increase efficiencies
• Root cause analysis
• Using planned maintenance systems
• Adhering to health and safety

Skills required:

• Be time served and hold HNC (or equivalent) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• 17th Edition (if electrical)
• Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• PLC - Fault finding would be beneficial
• Be able to work on own initiative
• Have a can do attitude and have an enthusiasm to do things better
• Be flexible and be able to work overtime as and when required
