Nine Twenty Engineering are recruiting a permanent Manufacturing Technician for our Client based in Stirling. The client is a young and energetic company developing revolutionary technologies within the healthcare industry.

The Role:

  • Fabricating and assembling disposable medical device test strips for development
  • Responsibility for the manufacturing of disposable test strips that will be used for development
  • Excellent communications within the team to manage and fulfil the supply of test strips
  • Responsibility for the correct use of equipment required to fabricate the test strips including use of a laser cutting machine and of assembly rigs
  • Authorising and maintenance of quality documentation e.g. work instructions and manufacturing batch records
  • Initiating a non-conformance form when required
  • Training on all appropriate procedures

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of working in a medical device or similarly controlled and regulated manufacturing environment
  • Computer literacy e.g proficiency in use of Microsoft excel
  • Skills in report writing, record keeping and data analysis skills
