Nine Twenty Engineering are looking for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician in Lanarkshire that isn't looking at their next opportunity to be driven by money.

The main duties in this position will include:

  • Care for the technical condition of the machine park and assembly lines
  • Removal of current failures, disturbances and irregularities in the operation of machines, peripheral equipment as well as equipment of assembly lines
  • Implementation of inspection plans in accordance with the adopted schedules
  • Analysing the causes of failure
  • Participation in projects improving the operation of the machine park
  • Support for transfers and commissioning of new machines
  • Cooperation with production employees

Expectations from candidates:

Technical education

  • Knowledge of electrotechnics, mechanics, power hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to operate tools and power tools
  • The ability to read technical documentation
  • The ability to quickly master technical issues
  • Creativity in solving problems and proposing solutions
  • The ability to identify, diagnose the causes of disturbances and failures, and to use quick solutions to eliminate the effects of these events
  • High level of commitment, focus on development and willingness to learn
  • Availability (work in a 3-shift system)

 

£29k - 3 shift pattern in Lanarkshire - development and a steady ship thats always moving forward with heavy investment int heir site/plant/equipment.
