We are delighted to be working with our prestigious Drinks client who are on the look out for a New Make Wood Planner/Scheduler to join their team on a full time and permanent basis. 

Responsibilities of the role but not limited to:

  • To plan fillings in line with Quality Policy requirements
  • To plan & execute wood requirements by type and final destination 
  • Manage and coordinate customer contracts for New Make Spirit 
  • Plan weekly tanker and cask filing with a 7 day rolling plan
  • Manage new make vat levels 
  • Manage and coordinate rum supply 
  • Manage self and customer wood against filling plans 
  • Support mature spirit planner with tippling plans and mature spirit requirements 
  • Conduct daily review meetings with key internal customers 
  • Monitor and ensure new make filling is in line with agreed budgeted volumes at both sites and highlight opportunities and risks where appropriate 
  • Support supply chain KPI's 
  • Initiate and execute a yearly customer satisfaction survey for internal customers 
  • Support improvement activity 

Skills required

  • Educated to degree level in maths or science 
  • Understanding of full supply chain processes and procedures within an FMCG environment
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data 
  • PC Literate 
  • Ability to build excellent working relationships
