Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are delighted to be recruiting for our Dufftown based client who are looking for a Planning & Reporting Team Leader to join our client's team on a Permanent basis. 

The successful individual would be responsible for the following

  • Ensure compliance with all H & S, Environmental and Customs legislation in order to maintain compliance with all regulatory bodies.
  • Lead and deliver the planning & reporting process requirements 
  • Engage with external and internal customers to ensure that the planning process delivers to their expectations.
  • Management of the planning and reporting budget, including variable and fixed costs 
  • Lead and implement the stock management procedures to meet business requirements on stock control and integrity with support from warehousing team.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of business objectives that drive essential behavioural; and process change. Strong links to be developed with the distilleries, bottling, spirit supply teams, Whisky Stocks, Stock Management, Export & Logistics and Compliance teams.
  • Maintain direct links with all  sites, procurement, suppliers, and all key stakeholders to ensure a predictive supply chain.
  • Implement best practice processes and procedures maximising effectiveness and efficiency ensuring a strong interface with all key relationship teams.
  • Lead, motivate and develop the team in line with the Company Values to maximise employee engagement, ensuring learning and development needs are planned and resourced.

Essential Skills required

  • Proven leader who can set objectives, performance manage a team and develop individuals to achieve their full potential
  • Knowledge and experience in the relevant areas of H&S, HMR&C and other regulator legislation and the application of best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal skills, with a proven track record in establishment of high quality reporting mechanisms.

Desirable Skills

  • Understanding of IFS or relevant ERP and reporting tools.
  • Experience in inventory accuracy methodologies
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant continuous improvement techniques.
