Responsibilities:

  • Safe execution of production, engineering & technical improvement 
  • All tasks in connection of improvement projects, permits, risk assessments & method statements completed within the company's H&S policies 
  • Supporting the Team Leader with Operator supervision 
  • Communication with all employee's & contractors within the process area to work in the safest way possible
  • Provide leadership to Operators within the Feeds Plant developing an excellent culture & practices 
  • Understand and provide visibility for Production Plans 
  • Have strong/exeprtise technical understanding of the manufacturing process 

Experienced required:

  • An excellent attitude to work - good all rounder, influencer & engager who can merge a team to work together and achieve 
  • Experienced working within a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Must have a strong Continuous Improvement background & mind set 
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • Demonstrable experience in leading, developing, performance managing and motivating teams
  • Formula and graphs in Excel, import photographs in PowerPoint, high standard of document production and report writing.
  • Competent user of electronic maintenance management systems
  •  Trained, competent and experienced in Permit to Work systems, risk assessments and method statements
