We are excited to be working with a new and innovative client who are on an exciting growth journey and are seeking a talented process engineer to develop / procure / deliver specific project work packages and control contractor on site activity during the development and delivery of company demonstration plant. This is a new role in a new business so there is opportunity and scope to really make a difference and make this role your own. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertake design, development and delivery of project solutions covering chemical, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation disciplines.
  • Assist the Projects Director during the development and delivery phase by identifying appropriate process and value engineering equipment improvement opportunities.
  • Manage on site contractors during delivery phase to ensure HSE requirements are implemented and tightly controlled.
  • Delivery of assigned work packages within the agreed scope / budget / time-frame / HSE measures to meet the sanctioned business case.
  • Undertake project procurement activities including equipment and service scoping, tender process, contract negotiations, contract award and variations to ensure CRG obtain the best value and most effective solution.
  • Ensure all project activities are conducted within applicable legislation and in accordance with agreed company policies, processes and procedures.
  • Provide progress updates against assigned activity to the Projects Director, identifying opportunities, risks and any remedial action plans required.
  • Deputise for the Projects Director, where appropriate, on meetings with key stakeholders, contractors or vendors to ensure project representation


To be successful in this position, you should be/have: 

  • Degree level qualified or significant appropriate trade(s) discipline experience
  • Project Management Qualification (e.g. APMP)
  • Demonstrable track record in an engineering project delivery role of at least 3 years
  • Knowledge of current health and safety/environmental compliance requirements
  • You should be able to influence others and have strong communication skills
  • Be ambitious to grow with the organisation
