The organisation are a leading demand response business; they provide rapid access to response and reserve energy and they deliver this with much lower cost and much lower emissions than conventional power stations. As a business they have pioneered their industry and they lead the aggregated demand-side reserve services for electricity system balancing, and continues to lead this sector in volume, technical capability and innovation. They create this reserve by aggregating small generators and flexible electrical loads into capacity groups that are made available to the UK’s Distribution Network Operators for short periods when the national or local electricity system is under stress. These generation assets and electrical loads are owned by third party industrial and commercial businesses that partner with them for market access and service provision.
The Project Administrator role has been created due to accelerated growth in secured business across our client's portfolio of services. This growth has increased the amount of process administration necessary, which demands accuracy and thoroughness.
The role primarily involves the coordination of data and information. You will have the responsibility for reporting to internal stakeholders and the Board of Directors, along with communication with and reporting to external bodies.
You will be involved across all aspects of administration, which is key to the sales growth strategy. Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, the Project Administrator role dictates a 50:50 split of tasks (internal and external facing) and a high degree of autonomy in workload management. In additional, the role demands a level of data manipulation and analysis.
Core duties will include:
Timely and accurate completion of documentation
Recording, analysing and reporting on performance of individual contracts
Liaison with external third parties
Maintenance of contracts via external web portals and online system
About you
This role requires an enthusiastic and confident individual who can evidence previous experience in an external-facing role
Above-average proficiency of Excel is required, including complex formulae, macros and pivot-tables
Sound knowledge of advanced Word features would be beneficial
Confidence on the phone is a necessity
Amenable to occasional travel on business, to meet with Partner clients
Desire to shine in a small team
Able to schedule your workload according to priorities and work with minimal supervision
