Nine Twenty have a great opportunity for a QHSE Coordinator to join their clients organisation who are a specialist within the Automotive Industry in the Glasgow area.

The purpose of this role is to support and drive Health and Safety activities and QMS activities as well as supporting incoming inspection and calibration systems.  Working closely with all functions to support ongoing development of internal and external quality and health and safety processes.

 

Health and Safety:

  • Investigating/recording incidents and accidents
  • Supporting and undertaking risk assessments and site inspections
  • Ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely
  • Identifying potential hazards
  • Determining ways of reducing risks
  • Writing internal health and safety policies/strategies
  • Compiling statistics
  • Support development of safe operational practices and making necessary changes
  • Supporting and liaising with relevant authorities
  • Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation

Quality Management System (QMS):

  • Support and develop QMS processes.
  • Carry out Internal and external audits.
  • Mange Calibration process and system.
  • Support Customer and supplier problem investigation and root cause Analysis.
  • Developing and implementing internal processes and procedures in line with ISO/19001:2015.

Desirable

  • A formal Health and safety certification and training
  • Risk Management experience and certification
  • Quality Management
  • ISO 9001 qualification

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Sound knowledge of Health and safety regulatory requirements and procedures.
  • Engineering background
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communicator
  • Sound knowledge of MS office experience
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2008 or 2015
  • Experience of process mapping
  • Internal auditor (Desirable)
  • Problem solving Techniques.
