Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are working with our prestigious drinks manufacturing client in their need for a Packaging Development Project Manager to join their team permanently. 

Reporting directly to the Head of Packaging you will lead a team of Packaging Technologists to implement packaging change. 

You will manage Packaging Projects through the development and delivery phase Manage Packaging Projects through the Development and Delivery phase of the Packaging Business Process ensuring business criteria is met for design, function, cost and quality. 

The Role:

  • You will Project Manage the introduction of projects in line with the approved PD Business process
  • You will Support the Business process through the provision of appropriate documentation
  • You will Manage the PD Risk Management Process for all PD projects 
  • You will ensure that all testing and trialling identified in Mitigation tracker is carried out and documented
  • You will engage with Suppliers to ensure projects are delivered on time 
  • You will ensure component developments and approvals are in line with Product Life Cycle Process.
  • You will monitor all financial costs associated with PD Projects
  • You will be responsible for the management of the Packaging Technologists ensuring training & development in line with Business needs

Skills required: 

  • You will have a technical packaging background with a minimum of 5 years experience 
  • You will have the ability to lead & develop a team 
  • You will have strong project management skills and preferably experience of using Project Management software
  • You will have strong communication skills 
  • You will have financial & commercial awareness
  • Drivers licence with the flexibility to travel
