Our client is a leading manufacturer of specialist engineered parts and supply to the Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Defence and other sectors within manufacturing.

Due to an ongoing commitment to product integrity and customer satisfaction, they now have an excellent opportunity for a talented professional to join their team.

Reporting to, and working closely with QHSE Manager, you will play a key part reporting the effectiveness of the Quality Management System through Audits.

The role will also include providing support to the other business functions in matters relating to Quality Assurance as required for Third Parties, Customers and the Supply Chain.

You must be able to determine requirements for the QMS and enable a successful transition for ISO9001:2008 to ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 rev C to AS9100 rev D

 

The Role

 

Conduct & Co-ordinate the internal / external quality audit schedule, raising ncr’s and closing off in a timely manner.

Monitoring supplier performance.

Monitor and advise on the performance of the quality management system, produce data and report on performance, measuring against set KPI.

Facilitate at Quality Meetings on issues relating to Audit findings.

Liaise with customer / suppliers on quality related activities / performance. (Reviewing customer requirement) .

Be able to assist other departments in any Quality Assurance activities at employee training sessions.

Liaise with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.

Be a key player and driving force in the company's continuous improvement culture.

Ensure production project are delivered on time to given quality standards.

Liaise with purchasing staff to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.

Manage and update policies and procedures within the current quality management system.

 

The Person

A Qualified Internal Auditor/ Qualified Lead Auditor

Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Manufacturing and or Quality Assurance role

Understanding and practice of leading teams to ensure that the QMS meets the requirements of accreditation Standards ISO9001 and AS9100

Computer literate

Customer Service skills

Good Communication skills

Team Leader
