Shift Process Engineer

Our client who are leader in revolutionary diagnostic led care solutions are going through a huge expansion in the manufacture of their life saving medical devices. They are looking for a number of Process Engineers to join their facility based in Stirling or Eurocentral.

As a Shift Process Engineer you will support many functions across manufacturing, quality and equipment engineering. You will work on reel to reel print lines & automated manufacturing processes. You will be heavily involved in continuous improvement projects & initiatives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Product and process performance monitoring.
  • Troubleshooting, rapid diagnosis and resolution of problems 
  • Statistical analysis, trend monitoring and reporting.
  • Determine, categorise, and develop mitigation for failure modes.
  • Develop & improve manufacturing methods utilising knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment assembly methods.
  • Investigate, root cause & resolve Non-Conformances and Quality Events.
  • Be open to self-development and the development of others to enhance value add and career progression.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Engage the production team in the identification of cost and inventory reduction initiatives, whilst also striving to streamline workflow.

Skills required:

  • You will be a hands on Process Engineer coming from a highly regulated manufacturing industry such as medical device, aerospace, aviation, chemical process, biopharma, biomedical or pharmaceutical industries 
  • You will have strong continuous improvement knowledge & experience and experience of improving manufacturing methods 
  • You will have knowledge of statistical process control 
  • Competent in documentation and report writing
