Nine Twenty Engineering & Manufacturing are proudly supporting a drinks organisation who are on a modernisation programme and now have a requirement for an experience Spirit Supply Manager to head up the department, lead the teams into new ways of working and work closely with the newly built leadership team in inspiring change. 

This is an autonomous role and will require someone who is not only technically strong, but who has experience in driving change through inspiration, coaching, development and robust planning. These roles in the industry are rare and this is an excellent opportunity for the right individual. 

Key responsibilities include: 

  • Through excellent design and execution, you are accountable for delivering a clear strategy that sets the Spirit Supply Team up for success and delivering a Best in Practise strategy for all aspects of - safety, performance, people, compliance, quality, productivity, delivery and cost.
  • Deliver a strategy including clear annual operating plans.
  • Build and maintain effective (internal & external) partnerships including Statutory Regulators (HMRC, SEPA, HSE), Suppliers and Contractors.
  • Drive improvements in all aspect of performance and efficiency through application of industry best practice, benchmarking and the application of new systems and technologies.
  • Through partnership and great leadership continue to develop the management and operations teams in a way that positions this team as 1st in class in capability for supply.

To be considered for this role, you should have experience in an Operational Vatting environment in a Senior Management role.  You should possess extensive knowledge of the Blending, Liquid Production, Innovation and Supply Chain business gained by working in a variety of functions and have a proven track record of great leadership and process and function implementation and techniques to deliver a continuously improving performance along with a strong track record in employee engagement, talent management and people development. An ability to execute change and transformation initiatives and a proven track record of delivering improving performance commitments.
