Nine Twenty's client are a market leader in electronic manufacturing. Due to ongoing growth an opportunity has arisen for an experienced Stores Manager to join their Bathgate Warehouse function.

The Stores Manager will be responsible for the supervision of all aspects of materials flow into and out of stores.    This will include booking in goods, updating MRP system, storing, kitting and shipping finished goods to customers.    Reporting to the Materials Manager, the you will have strong organisational skills and demonstrate a close attention to detail.

Key Requirements:

  • Controlling of physical inventory by conducting regular physical counts and reconciling such counts to stock levels within MRP system

  • Booking goods into stores

  • Kitting goods for production

  • Managing the flow of materials back from Production

  • Monitoring of shortages

  • Shipping of finished goods

  • Safeguarding warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.

  • Ensuring that the MRP stock system is kept up to date and is accurately tracking the movement of stock

  • Manage routine holiday/absence/disciplinary issues relating to the Warehouse Team

  • Monitoring of and driven by achievements of KPI’s

  • Contribute to Materials team success as directed by the Materials Manager and looking at continual improvements.

  • Manage the kitting priorities to ensure production team receives kits in a timely manner

  • Liaise with the Warehouse Team to ensure the daily plan is understood and achieved

  • Provide the Materials Manager with statistical data indicating performance levels of the team/dept.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Inventory Management/similar role

  • Good experience in the use of MRP systems

  • Experience in managing stock in electronics assembly manufacturing warehouse

  • Ability to manage inventory to processes and to KPI’s

  • Ability to create new processes where applicable

  • High attention to detail

  • Good analytical skills

Hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8am - 4.30pm and Friday 8am - 1.30pm. A competitive salary/package is on offer for the right candidate.
